Sandalwood pure essential oil is extracted from the sandalwood tree, native to the East Indies. The divinely sweet aroma, a softly balsamic base-note, evokes the Earth element at its most sensual, yet most tranquil. Pure sandalwood essential oil is steam distilled from the heartwood of sandalwood.

The oil is high in sesquiterpenes, a class of compounds studied in Europe for their ability to stimulate the pineal gland and the limbic region of the brain – the center of our emotions.
